Todays era is growing rapidly, with the continuous development of power electronic technology, the limitation of direct-current speed control modulation are amplified. By contrast, the frequency control of AC induction motor has been developing rapidly because of the superiority of alternating speed control modulation. After continuous research and development by scientists, the frequency conversion velocity modulation performance of asynchronous motor has surpassed the direct current velocity modulation systdiv.
In this paper, for the status of AC velocity modulation systdiv, we select the vector control technology to research and analysis in a number of control methods. Vector control of AC motor is a novel speed-adjusting form of AC motor, it makes the AC motor equivalent to DC motor, then control the components of the speed and the magnetic field independently. Compared with direct torque control, the vector control technology has many significant advantages like it has wide range, high reliability and can be controlled continuous.
